“AR” Alternanthera Reineckii Rosanervig is the taller version of Alternanthera Reineckii Mini.  The underside is generally more red and the top yellow, but with proper substrate, lighting, CO2 and iron dosing, this plant can display vibrant red colors.  Their leaves are susceptible to algae, so monitor and trim regularly.

Great for nano community fish like tetras, rasboras, danios, mollies, endlers, otocinclus, corydoras, dwarf gouramis.  Popular for guppy and shrimp tanks as they provide shelter for baby shrimp and fry.  Avoid larger mid dwellers that may pick on its delicate leaves like cichlids and goldfish.

Notes

Water Sprite is a versatile plant that can be placed in the background or trimmed to keep low in the midground of your aquarium.   Also known as Indian Water Fern, it's a column feeding plant that can be planted in the soil or left floating in the water.  It's a fast growing plant under medium to high lighting but be cautious of algae growth on its leaves.

Guppy grass is a fast and easy plant to grow.  It requires very little care and can propagate by simply cutting the stems and replanting it or letting it float.  It's a column feeder that helps absorb excess nutrients in the water and provides great hiding spaces for fry and shrimps.

Dwarf Baby Tears look very similar to Monte Carlo, but smaller and finer in size. Unfortunately, their finer appearance requires a balanced combination of soil, lighting and CO2. They are very demanding initially, but will be less work once established in your tank.
