Notes
"ARM" Alternanthera Reineckii Mini is a dwarf version of Alternanthera Reineckii Rosanervig. The underside is generally more red and the top yellow, but with proper substrate, lighting, CO2 and iron dosing, this plant can display vibrant red colors. Their leaves are susceptible to algae, so monitor and trim regularly.

Tank Mates
Most community nano fish like tetras, danios rasboras, pencilfish, kilifish, platties and dwarf grouramis. Shrimps and snails also benefit from their tall leaves. Avoid fish that may shift the soil or uproot it.
Notes
This plant is susceptible to melting but at a much lesser rate compared to other Cryptocorynes. It shoots runners on the surface and can propogate slowly with low to moderate lighting. It typically averages around 10-18" in height but can grow up to 24" in tall tanks. Decrease the lighting intensity if algae starts to develop on the leaves. | Ludwigia Repens

Tank Mates
Great for community fish, shrimp and snails
Notes
Rotala Macrandra provides outstanding red colors, but it is very demanding when it comes to nutrients. The conditions must be perfect which includes a good substrate, iron and trace dosing, high lighting and CO2. The PH for this plant should not exceed 7.0 as it prefers softer and acidic waters.

Characteristics:
Max Size: 2"
Care Level: Easy
Nutrient Source: Root Feeder
Composition: Carpet, Foreground
Parameters
Co2: Low - none
Light Level: Low
Tank Mates
Low foreground plants are great for invertebrates and bottom feeders to graze and hide.
Notes
Monte Carlo is another easy carpet plant, but like most will take a bit of time to establish without CO2. Their roots will go into the soil, but their runners will spread on the surface where new stems will grow. The short and bushy profile makes a great foreground look. Trimmings can be planted right back into the substrate.

Tank Mates
Popular midground plant for tetras, rasboras and danios. Avoid fish that may shift the soil or uproot it.
