Notes
Nocturnal species. Zebra Plecos are smaller than other common plecos, but they need a lot of space to hide. They're generally shy and peaceful, but can also be territorial at the same time. Provide a sandy substrate with plants, rocks, wood, caves and ample room to swim.
Although they're algae eaters, their diet cannot solely consist of algae. Supplement with wafers and other nutritious food, especially when they get older and larger.
